Who We Are
Mike Markrich
Hawaii-based market researcher and writer
My name is Michael Markrich, I am the founder of Markrich Research. I have written seminal studies on the Ironman Triathlon, The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, and other major tourism events in Hawaii. I have also done extensive market research about other aspects of life in Hawaii and the Western US Pacific Islands, including studies on fisheries, shipping, housing and electrical energy. My studies have been widely quoted and are often used for public and private stakeholder engagement. I often write editorials and publish articles in local outlets such as the Civil Beat, Honolulu Star-Advertiser and Honolulu Herald.
